Check out our [Tips & Tricks section] for more on how creators can promote themselves effectively.
A few strategies that work well:
- Start with a free community. Free Telegram channels tend to grow fast since there’s no barrier to join. Once you’ve built an audience there, use your TGM.Bot links to convert engaged members into paid subscribers.
- Put Telegram everywhere. Add a Telegram button or link across every other profile, Instagram bio, TikTok, X, other sites, wherever your creators already have a presence. Consistency is what turns casual followers into Telegram members.
- Use free content as a teaser, not the full offer. Post enough in the free channel to build interest, but keep the best content behind the paid tier, that’s what gives fans a reason to upgrade.
- Cross-promote between your own creators. If you manage multiple creators, having them shout each other out to their own audiences is a low-cost way to grow all of them at once, especially if their audiences overlap.
- Announce livestreams ahead of time. A scheduled, promoted livestream creates urgency and gets people to buy access before it starts, rather than hoping for impulse joins.
- Use different custom link names to track what’s working. Since you can set a custom name per channel link, using a distinct one per platform (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) makes it easy to see which source is actually driving signups when you check your stats.
