Short answer: TGM.Bot doesn’t use Telegram Stars, on either side. You can’t pay with Stars to unlock a subscription, content, or livestream, and any Stars a creator receives don’t go through TGM.Bot at all.
If you’re a fan: Don’t send Stars to try to unlock something, it won’t work.
Use the TGM.Bot payment links instead, every subscription, locked content, and livestream comes with one.
If you’re a creator: If a fan sends you Stars directly through Telegram (as a personal gift or for any service, not through a TGM.Bot link), that’s completely separate from your Dashboard balance, we have no visibility into it and can’t help you to cash out.
Why doesn’t TGM.Bot use Stars?

💡 Good to know
- With TGM.Bot no matter how a fan pays, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, local EU methods, or TON crypto, your balance always shows in one currency: USD. You get paid in USD, or automatically converted to whichever payout method you choose.

TGM.Bot does accept TON crypto, but paid directly through your TGM.Bot link, same currency option, none of the Stars delay or extra cost.
Once Stars are sent directly through Telegram, TGM.Bot has no way to see or recover them, so it’s worth steering fans toward the right link before they pay, not after.

Your audience. Your content. You deserve the most of the profit, simple as that! 💪
